With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Ackerman (Thomasville, Alabama), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ackerman and Elise Ackerman; and his brother Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Scott Ackerman and Stace Ackerman (Tammy); his daughter-in-law Wendy Wood; his grandchildren, Tess Elise Agee (Chad) and Ty Ackerman; his great grandchildren, Ash Agee and Jack Gaines Agee; his brothers, Bobby Ackerman and Charles Ackerman (Karen); and his nephews, Jack Ackerman (Sheila), Brady Ackerman and Ryan Ackerman (Shanna).

Memorial donations may be made to the Thomasville United Methodist Church.
