He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Webb Barnes; his sons, James A. "Tony" Barnes and Donald Wayne Barnes; his siblings, Curtis Dale Barnes, Joe Dan Barnes, Joann Bradford, Jill Marie Barnes and Sue Mozingo; and his grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Jones and Jason Barnes. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
