He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, C. J. Dement and Myrtie Viola Dement; his wife Maggie Harrell Dement; and his children, Robert K. Dement and Teresa D. Vickers. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
