He is survived by: his children, Bishop William McConnell (Tanya), Reginald Nash, Angela Cunningham (Elijah) and Barbara Thomas (John); his grandchildren, Demetrius, Cynthia, Ashley, Tremaine, Tiffany, Natassia, William Jr., Tonisha and Jamaris; his siblings, Debra Fobbs and Marvin McConnell; his aunts and uncles, Retha Marshall, Lettie Mae English, Callie Roberts (Kelvin), Georgia Ellison, Lola Olds, Viola Alfred, Carolyn Baker, Robert McConnell, Willard McConnell, George Corbin and Freddie Kirksey; his great-aunt Ella Mae Williams; his cousin Leo Flott; and also Felicia McConnell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
