He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hayes and Vernell Franklin Hayes; his brother Randall Earl Hayes; and his niece Kaci Rush. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Honeycutt Hayes; his daughter Jennifer Hayes Noah (Jeremy); his granddaughter Reese Caroline Noah; his sister Patricia Lane Rush; and his sibling's children, Amy Hayes Naylor (Warwick), Julie Hayes Overby (Aaron), Jamie Marie Hayes and Jason Rush.
