With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Hendrix of Toxey, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Rozier Irl and Janie Ola Barefield Bell; her husband Roy Hendrix; her sons, Hayward Hendrix and Jerry Hendrix; and her son-in-law Jerry Collins.
She is survived by : her children, Henry Hendrix (Marge) of Gadsden, Alabama and Mary Collins of Allen, Texas; her daughter-in-law Uvonne Hendrix of Gilbertown, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kevin Hendrix (Chelsea) of Hoover and Sandra Collins of Allen, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Halle Cloud (Joshua), Hanna Collins, Jack Henry Hendrix and Nathan Beeman.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that you plant a flower in her honor, remembering her love of gardening, or donations may be sent in her memory to Mosley Bridge Church in Gilbertown, Alabama where she was a life-long member.
