She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Dyess and Lorenna Green Dyess; her siblings, Virginia Nell Dyess, Glenn Dyess, Maebell Grantham and Mavis Flowers; her niece Marsha Dawkins; and her great-nephew Tucker Floyd.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Dunn and Sacha Dunn; her grandchildren, Emilee Dunn Golden (Brannon), Mary-Michael Dunn and Slade Lewis; her great grandchildren, Bradunn, Brody, Ellie Golden, John Michael and Chandler Weaver; her sister Kimlen Dyess Gray (Larry); and her nieces and nephews, Kendra Steed (Clif), Janet Johnson (Thomas), Cayla German (Michael), Lauren Gray (Jarett), Jason Grantham (Brandi) and Caleb Gray.
