He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wayne Copeland and Clemis Norris Copeland; his brothers, Wayne Copeland, Clem Tom Copeland, Charles Copeland and Leo Copeland; and his grandson Adam Davis.
He is survived by: his wife June Knight Copeland; his children, Melba Jo Davis (Billy) and Jason Louis Copeland (Christie Campbell); his granddaughters, Karen Davis Watson (Craig), Erika Copeland Lopez (Nick) and Tamara Klann (Mitch); and his great grandchildren, Gage Knighten, Kane Knighten, Tate Knighten, Gracie Little, Addy Davis, Logan Klann, Addison Lopez, Elan Lopez and Destini Erwin.
