He is survived by: his daughter Addison Grace Phillips; his parents, Jimmy Phillips and Alice Phillips; his sisters, Kelly Ware (Carl), Kerry Loflin (Nick) and Maggie Hammond (Patton); and his siblings' children, Carl Ware (Judi), Allyson Wilkerson (River), Nicholas Loflin, Kayla Loflin, Mary Alice Wilkerson, Coston Wilkerson, Ruby Anne Ware and Layla Ware.

The family suggests memorials be made to Coffee County Baptist Association, 603 E McKinnon Street, New Brockton, AL 36351, ATTN: Disaster Relief Fund, or Addison Phillips Trust Fund in care of Troy Bank & Trust.
