She was predeceased by : her parents, James B. Thomas and Susan Grace Thomas; and her great-nephew Samson Brant Howard. She is survived by : her husband Michael Hollingsworth; her sister Lynn Thomas Kurtts (Rob); her stepdaughter Jalice Marie Klein (Chris); her nieces, Elizabeth Lynn Baxter, Jennifer Baxter Howard (Chris) and Ashley Laura Baxter (Trevor Purter); her great-nephews, Charles Rowan Purter, Conrad Thomas Purter and Adrian Brant Howard; her stepgranddaughters, Lexi Klein and Anna Klein; and her cousins, Cheryl Petix (Tony) and Pamela Allums (late Jeff).
The family would also appreciate optional donations to Kitty Kat Rescue and/or The Alabama Humane Society in Laura's memory to support her love of animals.
