He is survived by: his wife Gloria Kay Miller (Merrill); his children, Roy Wayne Miller (Renea), Rachel Miller Dodson (Robby) and Scott Franklin Miller (Allison); his grandchildren, Savanna Payton (Korey), Samantha Parker (Devan), Emily Dodson, Bailey Dodson, Ansley Miller, Josh Dodson, Nate Dodson and Chloe Miller; his great grandchild Hadley Payton; and his sister-in-law Jean Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eastlake United Methodist Church (7753 1st Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35206). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
