With solemn reverence, we commemorate Barbara Ferguson Caughran (Tuscaloosa, Alabama), whose life came to an end on August 2, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie B. Ferguson and Gladys Adcock Ferguson; her foster mother Stella Toler; and her siblings, George, Robert Ferguson and Anita Calkins (Dick).
She is survived by: her son Bill Caughran, Jr. (Mary Ellen); her grandsons, David Caughran (Ashley) and Patrick Caughran; and her siblings, Kathy Anderson Price and Stephen Adcock (Tricia). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Lake United Methodist Church (1711 4th Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Forest Lake United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa, to any organization that rescues animals, or to another organization of the donor's choosing.
