She is survived by: her husband Charles McClain Spencer; her daughters, Charlain Spencer Fondren (Marty) and Gay Spencer Davis (Christopher); her grandchildren, Kyle Fondren (Amy), Alaina Fondren and Carla Davis Richards (Coleman); her great grandchildren, Sibyl Fondren and Charlotte Fondren; her brother David "Buddy"; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Lutes, Kathleen Sheppard and Earl Sheppard; and her sibling's children, Joy Sheppard Asbury, Libby Sheppard Williams, Angie Lutes Baldwin, Denise Lutes Jones and Franklin Lutes.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of West Alabama or the DCH Foundation.
