He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Edward Murphy and Sara Martin Murphy. He is survived by: his friend Kirk Patterson; his stepchildren, Alex Huffman (Amber) and Ashley Huffman (Jay); his father-in-law Bo Fields; his uncle Jim Martin (Carolyn); and his aunt Carolyn Tubbs. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pineland Cemetery.
