She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Doty and Stella Jane Doty (Henderson); her husband Douglas Rhea Van Dyke; and her siblings, Marg Sells, Marie Graham, Beulah Anderson, Jean Whitmire, Kenneth Doty, Lawrence "Bill" Doty, Robert Doty and Hugh "Sam" Doty.

She is survived by: her son Christopher Van Dyke (Nikki); and her grandchildren, Adam Van Dyke (Luis), Sam Van Dyke, Madison Roth (Alex) and Mallory Hatchett.
