With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Rains of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Rains and Edna Corbett; and his brother Billy Joe Rains. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Duke Rains; his daughters, Annette Patrick (Steve) and Renee Hand (Kenneth); his siblings, Brenda Pisel, Edward Rains, Douglas Rains and Danny Rains; and his grandchildren, Adrianne Graham, Haley Hill and Robert Bagwell. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Circlewood Baptist Church (2201 Loop Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery (2600 Co Rd 162, Marion, AL 36756).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Circlewood Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama.
