With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jenkins Lindsey of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Jenkins Lindsey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gaythor Lindsey; her parents, Carlos Jenkins and Lorene Jenkins; and her sister Joanie Files. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Lindsey (Tracy) and Darrel Lindsey (Karen); her siblings, Joyce Anderson (Charlie) and Ralph Jenkins (Joanne); her grandchildren, Mary Walker Lindsey Leonard (Michael), Alex Lindsey (Ashleigh) and Payne Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Brooks, Bryson Leonard and Wells Lindsey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home- Tuscaloosa (6100 Old Greensboro Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations in memory of Doris Lindsey to Hospice of West Alabama.
