He was predeceased by : his wife Ruth Sellers Spruill; his parents, John Murray and Chloe Spruill; his brother Leo Spruill; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Oswalt, Jane Sellers, John Oswalt, Buck Sellers and Clarence Sellers.
He is survived by : his children, Carla Spruill, Mike Spruill (Anne) and Wesley Spruill (Donna); his grandchildren, Dustin Spruill (Kacie), Mylan Spruill (Alyssa), Jon Spruill (Traci), Caroline Schoppert (Logan) and Leslie Hardin (Braxton); and his great grandchildren, Eleanor Spruill, Millie Spruill, Grayson Spruill, Jase Spruill, Michael Schoppert and Kennedy Schoppert. He is also survived by father, and grandfather and was devoted to his family and friends.
