He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Mixon and W. B. "Buddy" Mixon; and his brother Will Mixon. He is survived by: his close friend Tank; his wife Pamela Godsey Mixon; his children, Stacy Rutherford Page (Todd), Jonathan Heath Mixon (Patrick) and Tyler Brant Bowen (Anna); and his grandchildren, Madeleine Page, Mackenzie Polson (Brady), Jon Robert Page, Violet Bowen and Ruby Bowen.
