She is survived by: her father James Ambrose Gruver; her husband Michael Spearing; her son Matthew Lange Spearing (Sara Beth Spearing); her grandchildren, Sally Robbins, Banks Turner and Harold James of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; her daughter Cecelia Marie Spearing (Casey Pickell); her grandson Truman Michael of Washington, D. C.; and her siblings, Beth Asigri, Marcia Shelly, George Gruver and Margaret Kirby.
