She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gene McAbee Sr. and Opal Louise Bell McAbee (William H. "Bill" Boyd Jr.). She is survived by: her sons, Billy Boyd III and Jonathan McAbee Boyd (Lanna); her brothers, Harold McAbee II (Sonya) and Michael McAbee; her siblings' children, James Cory McAbee, Alexander Boyd Jackson, Susanna Jackson and Julianne Jackson; her aunts and uncles, Rose Bell, Ruth Battles (Tommy), Anne H. Peterson, Leroy McAbee, Sr., Wendell McAbee and Benny Joe McAbee; and her cousins, Leah Ann Sexton (Ted), Lisa McAbee Peckham, Leroy McAbee Jr. and Angela Boatwright.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, the Homer Roy and Harold McAbee Cancer Fund DCH Foundation, or the individual's favorite charity.
