She was predeceased by : her husband William Carter Standeffer of Jasper, AL; her parents, Dorothy Amanda Lewis Short and Roland Thomas Short; and her brother Roland Thomas Short Jr.. She is survived by : her friend Jimmy Dill; her children, Lee Belle Blythe (Bud) of Uniontown, Wendy Riggs of Fayetteville, AR, William "Bud" Carter Standeffer Jr. (Susan), Stacey Standeffer Curry (King) and Lewis Ashton "Luke" Standeffer (Teia) of Tuscaloosa; her cousins, Nancy Lee Honey Marsh, Walter Simmons, Debbie Rockwell and Kevin Honey; her sister-in-law Bethy Partlow Short; her grandchildren, Paden Blythe, Taylor Blythe, Kathryn Blythe Dykstra, Kaley Blythe, Hannah Blythe Stark, Amanda Riggs, Anna Kathryn Riggs, Carter Standeffer, Harrison Standeffer, Beck Standeffer, McLean Standeffer, Stefan Swindoll, Margaret McGuire, Ashton Standeffer Taylor, Wilson Standeffer and Jack Standeffer; her niece Conly Short Poolos; and her nephew Roland Thomas Short III. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren.
