He was predeceased by: his wife Ozelle Sanders; his grandchild Dusti Pritchett; and his parents, Truman H. Sanders and Annie Mae McAteer Sanders. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Jeter (Jim), Mitchell Sanders (Kim) and Chris Sanders; his sisters, Rene Pinto and Sue Sanders; and his grandchildren, Jodi Fields (Patrick), Cory Sanders (Abby) and Andrew Sanders (Carly). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gordo City Cemetery (651 N Main St, Gordo, AL 35466).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Gideons International.
