We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2023, at the age of 85, Peggy Allen of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, born in Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leon Brisson and Ruby Brisson; her husband Neil Allen; her siblings, Frances Brisson, Margie Prevatte, Zane Harvey and Sprig Brisson; and her daughter Tammy Renee Usher.

She is survived by : her sister Mary Alice Harrell of Matthews, NC.; her children, Frances U. Jackson, Howard G. Usher (Judi) and Judith U. Thomas (Michael); her grandchildren, Tao Rufe, Dylan Rufe, April T. Weatherford (Paul) and Howard G. Usher, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Michael C. Weatherford and Anna R. Weatherford; and her nephew Charlie.
