Virginia Wright Horton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 89, Virginia Wright Horton of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Orman G. Horton; her parents, Nathan Turner Wright and Willie Odell Nichols; her stepfather John Nichols; and her brother Bobby Turner Wright.
She is survived by : her daughters, Carol H. Farrell (Charles) and Tina Horton Bigham (Russell); her sister Carolyn Van Buskirk; and her grandchildren, Casi F. Orr (Wes), Catie F. Bell (Michael), Chuck Farrell (Kayela), Abby B. Kelce (Phillip) and Anna O. Bigham (Brian Pitts). She is also survived by her brother, sister, and 10 cousins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made at St. Jude Children's Hospital or Helping Hands Ministry at Taylorville Baptist Church.
