He was predeceased by: his parents, Newt Evans and Lydia Evans; and his son Richard Wayne Evans. He is survived by: his wife Laura K. Evans of Tuscaloosa, AL.; his son David R. Evans (Donna) of Boca Raton, FL.; his stepdaughter Pamela Hoggle of Tuscaloosa, AL.; his grandchildren, Jamie Cloverdale of Eugene, Jennifer Sweeney of Melbourne and John Hoggle of Tuscaloosa, AL.; and his stepgrandson Scot Evans of San Diego. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
