He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Charles P. Stewart and Audie Mae Stewart; his grandson Brad; and his brothers, Charles, Burt, Bill and Dale.
He is survived by: his son J. P. Stewart (Pat); his siblings, John Wayne Stewart (Jeanette), Bernice Abernathy and Gayle Earnest; and his grandchildren, Matt Stewart (Tiffanie), Ben Stewart (Stephanie), Staci Young and Cory Young (Kathy).
