She was predeceased by: her parents, Dow Askew and Hattie Askew; her siblings, Otis, Dowell Jr., Albert, Margaret and Mary; her husband Calvin Dickerson; and her daughters, Willie Mae Perry and Dorothy Mae Tisdale (Perry).
She is survived by: her former spouse Willie Perry; and her grandchildren, William Perry, Don Tisdale Sr., Deborah Borden, Margie Dorsey, Darlene Scott, Richelle Johnson, Lionel Tisdale, Carmella Rice, Venis Tisdale, Venita Woodall and Cassandra Jones. She is also survived by 26 Great-Grandchildren, a host of Great-great Grandchildren, and Great-great-great grandchildren.
