With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Neargarder (Tuskegee, Alabama), who passed away on February 11, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Lee Neargarder; his parents, Walter Neargarder and Florentine Neargarder; and his sister Arlene Keller. He is survived by: his grandson Mark.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lights of Love Christmas Tree Lighting at Jackson Hospital, 1725 Pine St., Montgomery, AL 36106.
