It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Edwards (Tuskegee, Alabama), who passed away on December 1, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Tommie is survived by: significant other Mary Johnson of Tuskegee; son Marcus Edwards (Yolinda) of Camp Hill; stepdaughter Jenene Kelley (Christopher); goddaughter Kimberly Cunningham (Chester); siblings, Doretha Heard of Opelika, Perry Tolbert, Richard Edwards (Linda) and Willie Joe Edwards (Brenda); and godmother Catherine Moore. Tommie is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
