She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jarvis Mercer; her children, DeBreanna Petithomme (Levi), Jarvis Mercer II and Jeremiah Mercer; the mother of her children Ruby Babers of Union Springs, Alabama; her brother Eddie Babers of Montgomery, Alabama; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Nelson (Melvin). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends, and co-workers.
