She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Clonts and Rose Leigh Clonts; her husband Whitfied Jack Rives; her sister Geraldine Walsh (Johnny); her sons, Butch Crawford and Chuck Ward; and her grandson Forrest Brown.

She is survived by : her daughter Leigh Cox; her son-in-law Jim Cox; her granddaughter McKinsey Franklin (Geoff); her great grandchild Crawford Franklin; her siblings, Howard Clonts (Jean) and Sara Teal (Billy); her stepdaughters, Melissa Brown (Dave) and Debbie Rives; her grandson Nicholas Brown; and her daughter-in-law Monta Honeycutt.
