He was predeceased by : his father William H. Spivey, Sr.. He is survived by : his mother Janie Parrish Spivey Dickens; his wife Linda Andrews Spivey; his children, William H. Spivey, III (Jessica) and Krystal Spivey Mezera (David); his grandchildren, Sarah Hazel Spivey, William Hain Spivey, Ashby Massey (Mikaela), Natalie Jones (Chris) and Spivey Massey; his great grandchildren, Tripp Jones, Rose Jones, Abby Lynn Massey and Hilton Davis Massey; and his brother Ronald P. Spivey.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Selma Funeral Home (5171 AL-22, Valley Grande, AL 36701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Crosspoint Christian Church (1710 W Dallas Ave, Selma, AL 36701).
