With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Rushing of Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on July 7, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Roscoe R Holliman and Alma Holliman (Strickland); her husband Luther Rushing; and her brothers, Bennie Wayne Holliman and Robert Harold Holliman.
She is survived by: her sons, William Keith Rushing, Kevin Lee Rushing and Robert Stanley Rushing; and her siblings, Opal Gay Carrell, Kathy Diane Holliman, Lowery Wade Holliman, James Kenneth Holliman and Daniel Ray Holliman. She is also survived by two grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
