She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hindman Barnes, Sr. and Maggie Elliot; her great grandchildren, Aurora Wozab, Alex Orr (Brittany) and Aaron Orr (Mackenzie Vines); and her great great grandchild Ella Jane Orr.

She is survived by: her son Mike Gideon (Rita) of Vernon, AL; her siblings, Kenneth Barnes (Shirley) of Decatur, AL., Judy Gideon (Edsel) of Vernon, AL and Joyce Clark of Gardendale, AL.; and her grandchildren, Necole Orr (Mike) of Reform, AL and Dawn Wozab (Chris).
