It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul Perkins of Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Perkins and Fannie Hollis Perkins; his former wife Helen Perkins; his grandson Ben Barrow; and his brother Robert Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Perkins; his children, Tony Perkins (Ann), Annette Young (Paul) and Janette Robinson (David); his stepchildren, Patricia Trentham (Brent) and Robert Motes (Tracy); his grandchildren, Amy Wilson (Jeremy) and Kevin Perkins (Krystal); his great grandchild Samuel Perkins; and his siblings, Thomas Perkins, Faye Taylor, Janie Haynes and Brenda Sartin. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
