It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth McKinney of Vernon, Alabama, born in Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his foster parents, Talmage Bumpus and Vera Bumpus; and his children, Kenny McKinney and Kathy McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Sara McKinney of Vernon, AL; his children, Scott McKinney (Stacy) of Jackson, MS, Beth Herring (Tommy) of Rainbow City, AL, Sallly Wiygul (Tim) of Tupelo, MS and David McKinney (Michelle) of Winfield, AL; his daughter-in-law Amy McKinney of Harvest, AL; his foster brothers, Jimmy Bumpus, Tammi Metcalf and Jenni Hankins; and his close friend Ed Ellis of Jackson, TN.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
