She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Watkins and Mary Elizabeth Watkins; and her husband Paul W. Hawthorne. She is survived by: her children, Allen Hawthorne (Mary Lou) of Vernon, AL and Paula Marie Shaffer of Cleveland, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
