He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Chaffin, Sr. and Margaret Eudnita Chaffin. He is survived by : his siblings, Kaye Anderson (Jimmy) of Kennedy, AL and Cecil Chaffin, Jr. (Denise) of Vernon, AL; his close friend Misty Tucker; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Anderson, Ashlea Anderson, Keith Chaffin and Stacy Gallop (Matt); and his great-nephews, Hunter and Lane Gallop.
