He was predeceased by : his siblings, Bill, Joe Rushing, Lonnie Robertson, Robert Wayne Rushing and Pauline Gazaway.

He is survived by : his daughter Janet Logan (James) of Columbus, MS; his grandson James Logan, Jr. of Columbus, MS; and his sisters, Minnie Pearl Vonkanel of Columbus and Sara Moore (Billy) of Brooksville, MS.
