He is survived by: his children, Johnny Smith of Vernon, AL, James Smith and Rosie Holbrook of Vernon, AL; his siblings, Terry Smith (Cindy), Gray Smith (Josie) and Nellie Matthews (Bill); his grandchildren, Dawson Smith, Levi Smith, Scottie Holbrook, Dakota Smith and Sarah Flippo (Justin); and his great grandchild Shelby Flippo.
