She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl W. Wilson and Marie Wilson; her husbands, Harold H. Hays and William Strange; and her sister Marie May.

She is survived by : her son Hal Hays (Debra); her grandsons, Hays Watson (Kirsten Porter-Stransky) and Topher Hays; her great grandchildren, Shaelyn Lozier, Kaya Melson and Scottie Butts; and her brother Carl Wilson, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
