Leo Fisher Denton Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo Fisher Denton Sr. of Deer Park, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo Fisher Denton Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Denton, Sr. and Irene Steele Denton; his brothers, Senator, Rear Admiral Jeremiah Denton, Jr. and Dr. Peyton Denton; his daughter-in-law Rosemary Toomer Denton; and his granddaughter Regina Denton.
He is survived by: his wife Mignon Therese Morrill Denton; his children, Leo Denton, Jr. (Pat), Irene Denton Schaefer (Louie), Bill Denton (Rose), Joe Denton (Kathy), Cathy Denton Shropshire and Tom Denton (Teresa); and his sisters-in-law, Poe Morrill Impastato and Mary Acker Morrill Gonzales. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pine Crest Funeral Home (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1453 Old Shell Rd, Mobile, AL 36604).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Charities, Carmelite Monastery of Mobile, or the Love All Pantry in Mobile.
