He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Monroe and Addie Pearl Mathis Bartlett; his daughter Donna Turrentine; and his sisters, Ethel Westbrook and Opal Schultz.

He is survived by: his wife Deloy Carden Bartlett; his sons, Michael Bartlett (Susan) and Chris Bartlett (Jill); his siblings, Margie Wilhite, Eulyas Bartlett and Euell Bartlett; and his grandchildren, Natasha VanOrmer (Chris), Paige Diaz (Peter), Morgan Bartlett, MacKenzie Bartlett, Rachel Bartlett and Chase Ormsby (Erin). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
