She was predeceased by : her parents, Hooper Aikens and Eunice Baldwin Aikens; and her siblings, Cleve Aikens, Frank Aikens, Dovard Aikens, Billy Aikens, Lonida Brooks and Lorene Milner.

She is survived by : her husband Tommy Blackmon; her children, Jeannie Looser Hancock, Eddie Looser (Mary), John Looser (Becky), Tommy Blackmon (Diane) and Walter Blackmon (Laura); her siblings, Emma Blanks (Joe), Ruth Davis (Frankie) and Rev. Floyd Aikens (Floy); and her great great grandchildren, Jennifer Benefield and Jasmine Buttrum. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shiloh Baptist Church or Compassus Hospice Care of Roanoke, Alabama.
