With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Johnson (Wagarville, Alabama), who passed away on September 27, 2019 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Imogene Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Lankford and Alma Lankford; her husband James E. Johnson; and her siblings, Willene Everette, Kathleen McCully, Naomi Drinkard and Herbert Ralph Lankford.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Jones of Robertsdale, David Johnson (Melinda) of Wagarville, Sandy Carpenter (Jimmy) of Wagarville and Angela Sullivan (Benny) of Anniston; and her sister Irma Richardson of Loxley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Washington County Nursing Home Van Fund.
