He is survived by: his wife Robbie Ivey; his children, Will Ivey (Michael), Rodney Ivey (Veronica), Ethan Ivey (Rachel) and Shannon Grier; his grandchildren, Samuel Ivey (Breanna), Hollie Grier, Dawson Grier, Haven Ivey, Hogan Ivey and Margo Ivey; his great grandchildren, Sophie Ivey and Theodore Ivey; his grandchildren, Tamara, Dylan, Taylor, Gavin and Kaydyn; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Wyatt and Madelyn; and his sisters, Mary Ann Thompson and Pat Nelson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home Chapel (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092).
