It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hayward Stephens Jr. (Wetumpka, Alabama), who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Hayward Stephens, Sr.; his mother-in-law Hazel Brown Fegaro; and his grandson Junah McCain Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his children, Ashley, Butch Newcomb, Brad and Diana Stephens; his granddaughters, Katie Gatlin, Laila Stephens and Emie Stephens; his mother Elizabeth McCain Stephens (Betty); his siblings, Pam (Dennis Bowden) and Allen (Susan Stephens); his siblings-in-law, Rick, Giny Byrd, Mike, Kay Byrd, Harry, Owene Fegaro and Angela Byrd; and his close friend Steve Locklar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
