We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 92, Mary C. Whitburn of Wilsonville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Whitburn; and her son Jamie Whitburn. She is survived by: her children, Midge Whitburn Bagby (Tom), Cyndy Whitburn Woodall (Irby), Tammy Whitburn Warren (Greg) and Bette Whitburn Nix; and her sister Lyla Franklin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bolton Funeral Home (207 Hwy 47, Columbiana, AL 35051). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Columbiana City Cemetery (206 Shelby Rd, Columbiana, AL 35051).
