She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benson and Pearl Ramey Benson; and her siblings, Lily, Iva, Etheline, Alvin and Ed.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Prescott (Diane) and Brenda Fowler (Frank); her grandchildren, Carrie Edmonson (Keith), Kristy Silas (Darrell), Dale Prescott, Dawn Goodwin (Alan) and Nick Fowler (Chelsea); her great grandchildren, Gaven Prescott (Katie), Kendall Edmonson, Grayson Edmonson (Amanda), Casey Silas (April), Shelby Silas, Annabelle Fowler, Grier, Charlie Fowler, Tanner Nixon, Bryleigh Prescott (EJ), Haley Nixon (Skyler) and Breanna Cagle; her siblings, Helen Lingingfelter and L. D. Benson (Ronnie); and her close friend Elouise Sandlin. She is also survived by 10 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
